The Week before Easter is our busiest time in our Salon. We are in need of help for volunteers to help wash our Residents hair with our Beautician On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The volunteers can help for an 2 hours on one of the days. We are working on a schedule right now and would love to schedule you soon.

Mission Statement
The Little Sisters of the Poor are an international congregation of Roman Catholic women religious founded in 1839 by Saint Jeanne Jugan. Together with a diverse network of collaborators, we serve the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world. Continuing the work of Saint Jeanne Jugan, our mission is to offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family, and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself.
Description
Since 1901 at the same location in Mobile, Alabama, we have worked hard to give compassionate care to elderly men and women of the Gulf Coast region who have outlived their resources. More than 4,000 people from all walks of life, of all religions and beliefs, have made their home with us in Mobile.
