Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful

Join Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful and the North Texas River Runners for an Adopt-a-Stream water-based cleanup!

Paddlers may bring their own kayak, canoe, etc. Rentals are available at charleykayak@hotmail.com. PFD, personal flotation device, is required for every volunteer.

Youth volunteers must be accompanied by parents/ adults.

What to wear:

  • Long pants
  • Layers appropriate for weather
  • Close-toed shoes or rain boots
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent

The cleanup site, with loading and unloading zone, is at the bridge on SE 14 th street just south of Skyline Road. Parking is available at Hobbs Williams Elementary School.
