I am hoping to find someone, maybe a grant writing retiree or a former member of the military or a Gold or Blue Star family member that is compassionate to fellow military famlies with some grant writing experience. This person needs to have computer access, time and patience, to search through Foundations, via 990's (tax returns) using a service we have subscribed to; to find the ones that have interest in making grants for verterans and military families. And, to prepare, or help me prepare Letters of Inquiry and Grant Proposals.

Mission Statement
Build heirloom quality, handcrafted, American made, solid cherry wood, personalized, keepsake boxes for family members of Fallen Soldiers from the current Gulf wars for free. Supported with donations, fundraising and sponsorships to cover the cost of materials and shipping. To give something back to the Gold Star family members for their sacrifice as well as the sacrifice of their fallen loved one. To show appreciation and let them know, they, the grieving family members have not been forgotten.
Description
We are a 501 (C) (3) tax exempt, nonprofit California Corporation as of January 1, 2013. We have greater than 900 requests for Memory Boxes throughout the United States. Memory Boxes are crafted in Paso Robles, California by a Master Wood Craftsman with 30 years of woodworking experience. We have 4 Board Members and are looking for Volunteers to help with searching for potential grants, Grant Writing and help with fundraising via the internet. This volunteer work can be done from any state where one has internet access.
