The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. Social Media Mission: The social Media Internship position for Will’s Hope exists to bring attention to the needs of medically fragile children and their families and spread the message of hope by sharing their stories.
Position overview (2-5 hours per week):
Create a social media plan for each platform (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
Work with others for a creative calendar to make a more creative email outreach
Use Hootsuite to schedule/post updates through all Will’s Hope pages
Find stories relevant to the charity’s mission to be shared on Twitter
Use Facebook to share upcoming Will’s Hope events and progress
Use Instagram to feature daily stories of hope within Will’s Hope Charity
Create compelling content and tracking the growth our online presence
Work with writing and photography teams to create quality content, and decide where each piece is best featured
