Coordinator Mission: The volunteer coordinator exists to help extend the mission of Will’s Hope to people outside the organization, encouraging them to support medically fragile children in hands-on, individually designed volunteer opportunities.
Description (4-6 hours per week):
Design volunteering activities and lead volunteers to help them with planning and purpose
Knowing the need of each house, and helping plan materials and activities/training needed for each visit
Create an environment that encourages volunteers to become part of our data base
Work closely with Development team in peer to peer fundraising
Assist in recruiting of new volunteers with Social Media Team
Help develop new plans and ongoing strategies for advocacy
Attend staff meetings and assist in the evaluation of the program
Assist with planning of volunteer appreciation events

From providing financial support for housing/living expenses, to covering medical costs, to making sure siblings get counseling and opportunities to have fun and be well; Will's Hope is a support system for all family members.
