About

Join us for the 12 th Annual Black Rock Rendezvous. Set aside Memorial Day weekend, May 26-29th for another great time in the desert! This weekend of volunteering will include environmental stewardship projects and a Dutch Oven cook-off between all the volunteers!

Work will include helping the BLM retrofit a historical railroad tie cabin, installing the new NCA signs, and installing Wilderness boundary markers.

We plan to camp below Cassidy Mine on the playa, but this is subject to change due to weather. Partners this year again include Nevada Outdoor School, Friends of Black Rock-High Rock, and the BLM. We look forward to another great Dutch Oven Competition, so dust off your ovens and start testing your secret recipes.
