ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Family Center

We need three or four volunteers to help transition our patients from the Movie room to the front gate after our program hours have finished.

• Monday-Friday 3:00pm-5:30pm, minimum one day per week commitment.
• Transition Pt’s with all levels of ambulation (wheelchair, walker, or self-ambulatory) to the front gate once the Pt’s family has arrived.

Volunteers should be able to commit to one shift per week. Accommodations will be made for necessary absences (i.e. illness, vacation, appointments) and scheduling changes.

* Interested volunteers should have:
* Enthusiasm
* Sense of humor
* Patience
* Consistent schedule
* Minimum age: 14

*An interest in working with older adults is appreciated but not necessary.
