Career Advisor Volunteer - Stipend Available

Goodwill operates 19 Career Centers around the valley to help "Put People to Work!" We are hoping to offer career advisement at a local library where we can reach more people.

A volunteer will be needed to help with the following tasks - Assist job seekers with applications, resume preparation and mock interviews; one-on-one career advisement; matching job seeker's skills to local employment opportunities; collaborate with career center staff in putting on hiring events and provide literature to the public about hiring events.

Volunteer must have proficieny with MS office suite, excellent customer service, ability to speak and read English proficiently, excellent internet navigation required; high school diploma or GED.

We will provide training. We are hoping for a volunteer who can serve one 4 hour period, eveyr other week. A library stipend is available for the chosen volunteer.
