Pathlight HOME, the registered service mark of Grand Ave ECDC, is one of Central Florida's best-kept secrets. We are the first and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for those experiencing homelessness. We subscribe to a Housing-First philosophy, that those challenged by homelessness must have a safe and dignifying place to live before they will have the stability necessary to receive supportive services and develop the self-efficacy needed to thrive.
We are looking for a volunteer(s) who enjoys people and is comfortable with overseeing computer use by our residents as well as is interested in facilitating social activities such as discussion groups, card games, arts and crafts and the like, on a fixed day of the week for two hours at a time.
Basic to Intermediate computer skills preferred.

Description
Pathlight HOME changes the lives of homeless and low-income Floridians by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. We are a non-profit organization providing over 600 formerly homeless individuals with permanent, supportive housing in Central Florida. Originally incorporated as Grand Avenue Economic Development Corp., we have helped more than 5,000 of our homeless neighbors through our "housing first" philosophy.
Pathlight HOME also operates two social enterprises, Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s Café. These enterprises create an opportunity for low-income community members to learn culinary skill sets, enabling them to overcome barriers to employment and earn higher wages.
