Would you drive to save a life?
Everyday seniors in your neighborhood miss important medical appointments, simply because they couldn't get there. Some don't drive and others are undergoing therapies that make driving difficult. But they all need the same thing: a ride. Sign up to be an Escorted Transportation driver; you may be surprised what you get in return. Help with this critical need while enjoying the company of an appreciative senior. It is a very flexible role and one you that you can fit into your schedule.
Because of the COVID outbreak, we are interviewing volunteer candidates for our volunteer roles by phone or on-line only. Please contact cpadovani@nssc.org and we will get the volunteer enrollment process started so that you will be ready to begin your new role with the North Shore Senior Center once our doors re-open.

Many opportunities for volunteer service are available for people of all ages! We have more than 160 active volunteers. We can match your talents, experience, and schedule to a volunteer role that brings you - and those you help - great satisfaction. We offer regular and flexible volunteer opportunities in our Northfield and Niles locations and out in the communities we serve.
