Interns are needed to support middle school students with academics and enrichment activities this summer (June and July)! This is an awesome opportunity for high school students in Longmont!
Please join us for a few hours a week for fun and learning along side youth of Boulder County! This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with students, enhance your resume and give back to this beautiful community.
Interns and tutors are need from 8am to 1pm to help support summer school teachers, and 1pm to 3pm to support staff with fun activities. Interns must commit to at least one shift per week (Monday-Thursday) during June and July.

"I Have a Dream" Foundation works with Boulder County low income students after school and all day during the summer, to provide long-term intervention programs to more than 400 low-income students of all ages in Boulder County.

Description
Since 1990, IHDF Boulder County has served more than 1,000 local youth, and currently has 12 active Dreamer Scholar Classes. The model, with its one-on-one attention and daily programming, has proven to narrow the opportunity gap. Dreamer Scholars graduate from high school, enroll in post-secondary programming, and complete their post-secondary education at much higher rates than their low-income peers.
