2017 Festival

Join the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin's volunteer team! We have a number of ways for you to get involved with our birding festival. The Birding and Nature Festival is a three-day event that takes place at the height of spring migration where over 54% of North American birds have been sighted and recorded. There are over 60 field events that are focused on birds, mammals, marine mammals, sharks, flowers, trees, and more all lead by the Bay Area's top naturalists and biologists.

This year the entire festival is taking place at the Dance Palace Community an Cultural Center in downtown Point Reyes Station. We are looking for volunteers to help with setup, registration, our evening programs, and clean up. Additionally, we need some pre-festival help with organizing retail, assembling name badges, and making phone calls to potential and past sponsors to help raise funds for youth and educator scholarships.

We hope you can help us make this year’s festival a great success. We can’t do it without your help!

Of course we have some perks for you this year as well.
