The St. Jude Country Cares radiothon with WKML is just around the corner and we are still in need of volunteers! The event will be on Thursday, March 23 rd and Friday, March 24 th from 6 am to 7 pm. There will be 5 phone lines and we need all 5 phones to be covered at all times that day! The volunteer responsibilities will consist of answering phones in the phone bank and entering pledge information into the computers provided. Please see below for the volunteer shifts that have availability. If you can volunteer for the duration of multiple shifts, please make note of that in your response. Volunteer shifts will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

The event will take place at the radio station located at 508 Person St, Fayetteville NC 28301.
Volunteer Shifts:
· 9 - 12 pm: 3 volunteer slots open on both days
· 12 - 3 pm: 3 volunteer slots open on Thursday
2 volunteer slots open on Friday
· 3 - 7 pm: 3 volunteer slots open on both days
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your time begins in order to get registered on the computer and trained. Thank you in advance for your time!

Description
In keeping with the promise of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital founder Danny Thomas to freely share research findings with the entire world, St. Jude has an extensive media relations program to share science, research and medical discoveries, along with patient care treatment advances, with doctors, patients, parents and the general public.
The hospital’s fundraising organization, ALSAC, also works with media and the public to share information about the hospital’s treatment and research programs, and how the public can help advance this work.
