ORGANIZATION: RELIEF AFTER VIOLENT ENCOUNTER IONIA MONTCALM INC

This volunteer opportunity allows you to give back to your community while spending fun, interactive, meaningful time painting one anothers nails with the residents in our Shelter Home. Join the movement and spread awareness about Sexual Assault through this volunteer opportunity. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy painting nails and any ability to do designs is a plus as we will be doing designs/colors to support survivors of Sexual Assault.

**Time dependent on volunteer's availability - preferred after 3:30pm so children coming home from school can participate.

Description

Relief After Violent Encounter - Ionia and Montcalm, Inc. offers free and confidential services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. RAVE serves the communities located in Ionia and Montcalm counties. We have a rich history built on the hard work of these communities beginning in 1979. We offer legal, court and PPO advocacy, safety planning, support groups for residents, parents, schools/teachers, children, and outreach clients, crisis response and domestic assault response services, referrals, child and adult counseling, a 24/7 365 days/year crisis line and emergency shelter. Our shelter is located in Ionia and we have outreach services in both Ionia and Montcalm county.
