Modern American Dance Company (MADCO) is celebrating 42 years of transforming lives through dance and we’re excited about expanding our Board of Directors. MADCO (Modern American Dance Company) provides collaborative dance experiences; pathways for self discovery; and a social connection with audience members, students, teachers, and corporations.
Description
MADCO is the resident professional dance company on UMSL's campus. Our community outreach is strong and diverse. Our accomlished performers are inspiring teachers who reach thousands of students each year through our master classes, dance intensives, and through various educational programs we bring to local schools. Our Books in Motion education program brings literature to life for grade school children throughout the St. Louis area. Our passion is not only performance, but also education through collaborative creative outlets.
