Art With Impact (AWI) is a nonprofit organization that uses the arts and creativity to reduce stigma around mental health issues. A large part of our work involves visiting high schools and colleges/universities throughout the USA and Canada to lead workshops where students can have safe conversations about mental health, using the arts as a way into the conversation. We also have an ongoing short film competition for short films about mental health, with the winners comprising the most diverse short film library about mental health in the world.
We are seeking volunteers for a variety of aspects of our nonprofit work. Projects can include outreach and marketing, fundraising events, grantwriting, partnership development, social media campaigns, website development, and additional projects as needed.
Volunteers should be passionate about mental health, the arts as social change tools, and/or nonprofit work. Please contact Maya at maya@artwithimpact.org listing any skills you have or projects you might want to take on with AWI.
