Art With Impact

Art With Impact (AWI) is a nonprofit organization that uses the arts and creativity to reduce stigma around mental health issues. A large part of our work involves visiting high schools and colleges/universities throughout the USA and Canada to lead workshops where students can have safe conversations about mental health, using the arts as a way into the conversation.

We are seeking volunteers to help us connect with colleges/universities throughout the USA and Canada. This work could include volunteers facilitating introductions between AWI and contacts you already have at different schools, or reaching out to schools you don’t already have contacts with to let them know what AWI does and see if they’d like to be put in touch with AWI to discuss collaboration.

Interested volunteers should have experience doing outreach, including cold calls, and be connected or easily connected to Counseling Directors and staff at colleges/universities throughout the USA and Canada. We are doing a big outreach initiative starting on June 1, so we're hoping to have as many volunteers signed up by then as possible!
