If you love working with children, have a passion for art, and want to give back to the community, Go van Gogh(r) is the volunteer program for you! Go van Gogh(r) summer outreach volunteers lead experiences in libraries, recreation centers, and boys & girls clubs that encourage students to look closely at works of art in the Museum’s collection and express their creativity with art-making activities.
All interested volunteers must attend a mandatory introductory session in late May and be able to provide their own transportation to and from program sites. Volunteers are asked to teach two programs per month from early June to mid-August. Programs are scheduled Monday-Friday in the late morning and early afternoon.
We are currently accepting applications for this opportunity through Friday, May 19, at 5:00 p.m. Interested volunteers may apply here: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1659820900
