Pathlight HOME (aka Grand Ave. ECDC) is one of Central Florida's best kept secrets. We are the first and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for those experieincing homelessness. We subscribe to a Housing-First philosophy, that those challenged by homelessness must have a safe and dignifying place to live before they will have the stability necessary to recieve supportive services and develop the self-efficacy needed to thrive.

We are looking for an invidual who is passionate for our cause...and is a saavy social media/communications enthusist. You will help help us generate content and build awareness for our cause to provide housing and economic opportunities for people challenged by homelessness and poverity.

Must be local to Central Florida but work can be done remotely.

Description

Pathlight HOME changes the lives of homeless and low-income Floridians by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. We are a non-profit organization providing over 600 formerly homeless individuals with permanent, supportive housing in Central Florida. Originally incorporated as Grand Avenue Economic Development Corp., we have helped more than 5,000 of our homeless neighbors through our "housing first" philosophy.

Pathlight HOME also operates two social enterprises, Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s Café. These enterprises create an opportunity for low-income community members to learn culinary skill sets, enabling them to overcome barriers to employment and earn higher wages.
