Social Media oriented HR
International Professors Project (IPP) is a non-profit organization working to meet the higher education needs in emerging and developing countries. We are an all volunteer driven group that functions as an exchange network for professors around the world.
We are seeking a dynamic s ocial media- oriented HR to support our HR Director. May act often on own initiative and direction.
Provide HR support and assistance to our CEO or HR Director. Work proactively and take initiative to support the varying needs of our HR Team.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in the field of HR and Social M media
- Effective communication and networking skills (internal and external)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for posting success stories/articles/news/research on the lives of professors’ or retired professors’ from the developing countries
- Responsible for posting articles/findings related to internationalization of universities/curriculum/online learning centers with focus on the developing countries
- Able to constantly generate thoughts and ideas or conduct research on how to improve the use of social media for HR activities and how to strengthen the position of IPP on social media platform
- Be actively involved in discussions that take place in the LinkedIn groups
- Responsible for posting and finding important communication and discussions topics to increase the online presence of the organization
- Responsible for responding to messages from interested applicants in LinkedIn that comes after job postings
- Responsible for reaching out to the interested applicants via email and screen their resumes
- Responsible for fixing up a suitable date and time for an interview after screening the applicants. The mode of interview can be telephonic/Google hangout/Skype

Founded in 2009, IPP is a Technology and HR-oriented organization emphasizing cooperation and coordination in service delivery to Professors, expatriate Professors and Universities in the developing countries.
Our organization is run entirely by dedicated and hardworking volunteers.
Much of what IPP does can be summarized into 3 main functions: Consulting, Promoting and Recruiting, often brought into being via interconnections.
Consulting - We have dedicated volunteer professionals and professors who donate several to many hours per week to advise professors, students universities and nonprofit organizations in their areas of expertise.
We provide free mentoring, coaching, training, and tutoring services in various subjects such as Instructional Design, Academic English, Gamification in Education, HR, IT, Blended Learning, etc.
Promoting - The International Professors Project is dedicated to promoting various professor and student projects and researches that contribute to higher education development and international higher education in the developing world.
We love to partner with the other organizations and businesses to help each other better achieve our mission and goals.
Recruiting - Our aim is to attract and recruit motivated and highly-qualified volunteers for educational projects throughout the developing world.
