Loading delivery trucks with plants-Travel to Columbus with staff

Volunteers (ages 18 and up) are needed to travel with the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes Staff to pick up the plants in Columbus for our 41st Annual Plant Sale. The timing will be from 7:30-3:00pm on Monday, May 1. This would involve approximately 2 hours of lifting plants (that could weigh up to 50 pounds) into the truck. Staff will be driving the trucks and lunch will be provided.

Founded in 1966, the Nature Center teaches over 10,000 urban school children a year hands-on environmental education. It also produces many programs, workshops and special events throughout the year, and boasts lovely trails that meander through marsh, forest, field, stream and lake habitats.
