Every year European American Association participates in the Mayor's Spring Clean and Green event.
We start at the EAA office( 2827 W. Division St.) and we organize ourselves into groups. Each group works in our neighborhood to clean papers, scraps and anything which doesn't belong in the street or on the sidewalk.
EAA will supply the tools and equipment for the project. All we ask is that everyone come in their jeans, sweats and gym shoes ready to work.
The project will start at 10:00 am and we will work until about 12:30 pm. Saturday, April 22nd is Earth Day. I can't think of a better way to honor the day and our community then by doing a Clean and Green project!!!!!
