Wildlife Prairie Park contains over 20 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, between the West Side and the East side of the Park.

The West Side of the Park is the property right across the street from the Main Park entrance. The West Side is home to the Parkside Pavillion, Pump Track, fishing lake, bike trails, hiking trails, and disc golf. All of these trails require regular maintenance to keep them in riding and hiking condition.

The PAMBA (Peoria Area Mountain Biking Association) crew currently grooms and maintains the trails on the West Side of the property and some of the East Side Trails. They can always use more hands to help with this massive task! They meet on Wednesday evenings, but you are welcome to come out on othe rdays to work as well.

If you enjoy spending time out doors, and like a good physical challenge, come join our team!

Our guests come to learn about wolves, bison, waterfowl, black bears, elk, cougar, otter and much more.

Wildlife Prairie Park is a fun place to visit, and we take our commitment to education very seriously. The good news is we know how to make learning enjoyable! Our education department has developed tools to enrich your experience before, during and after your visit.
