The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services is one of the primary fire Rehab Agencies for Allegheny County, PA., and we are in need of assistance at our Munhall Station.
AGAIN WE ARE LOOKING FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE VOLUNTEERS (WITH A DRIVERS LICENSE AND A VEHICLE THAT CAN RESPOND TO THE FIREHOUSE TO DRIVE THE TRUCK) IN THE EAST END MUNHALL OR SURROUNDING AREAS.
We're in Need of Volunteers to Assist with Local Emergency response(Fire Rehab). Drivers Needed!!!
Again, This is a Volunteer Position.
(EVOC not mandatory, but recommended, but we can Assist in EVOC/EVDT Certification.
Munhall Unit#2 responds to Emergencies all throughout the Eastern side of the County, and assists in Providing Fire REHAB services to the First responders on the scene of an Emergency Incident such as A Structure Fire, Hazmat, Search & rescue, SWAT Incident, or what ever other incident in which we are requested by Allegheny county 911.
-Driver MUST be over 18.
-Have a Valid PA Drivers License.
-Be able to Pass a PA State Police Background Check.
-Pass a Child Clearance.
-Complete a Volunteer Orientation & KeepSAfe Training Program prior to Starting.

Description
Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) is a division of The Salvation Army that provides services to support the basic needs of those who are affected by disasters. These disasters include fires, floods, severe weather and many times when first responders are dispatched. Our volunteers try to meet the basic needs of survivors and first responders in the field (food,water and shelter). Once we have met those needs, EDS provides support, encouragement and assistance trying to make their live whole once again.
