ORPHANAGE IN GHANA... WITH LOVE

In Ghana, our association works in an orphanage in Dodowa, a little country village located 1 hour (35 km) away from the capital city, Accra. Ghana is a relatively safe country, with a stable political situation. Dodowa is a safe and quiet village as well, especially during the day, and the locals are very warm and kind people. POTTER'S VILLAGE is the orphanage where the volunteers will cooperate. It hosts about 130 children aged between 1-19. The volunteers will be playing games with the children and help them in educational activities, or they will be helping in support tasks to be discussed privately. The volunteers will be requested to work in the orphanage at least 5 hours a day, for at least 5 days a week. During the week end, they will be free to explore the surroundings. The volunteers will be hosted at a Guest House with a shared kitchen and a night watchman.
