Work with families and children in single parent homes. Be a part of a very strong team! Learn basic counseling skills and in addition partake in a 40 hour training to be a monitor of families. Learn about court procedures, families in crisis, domestic violence, substance abuse.

Fundraising events include a volunteer recognition lunch, a barbecue, a gala dinner in the fall, a pie eating contest on CSUF campus, a Thanksgiving Feast for volunteers, several restaurant fundraisers, a casino night and Hearts in Action every year in February.
