The Road to Recovery Volunteer Coordinator oversees transportation requests for cancer patients in Wayne County and surrounding areas. The Coordinator utilizes American Cancer Society volunteer services to meet the transportation needs of the patient.
Responsibilities:
* With staff partner, recruits transportation volunteers
* Monitor ride requests in online matching system
* Maintains accurate records of volunteer drivers via Google Docs
* Calls volunteer drivers to fulfil ride needs
Qualifications:
- Friendly, compassionate
- Comfortable communicating on the phone
- Basic Computer Skills
- Experience with Excel, Google mail and Google Drive is recommended
