ABOUT SHANGRI-LA
Shangri-La is a non-profit human services organization serving adults with disabilities and disadvantages so they may recognize and achieve their potential. We aim to create communities where all people are accepted for their abilities and celebrated for their achievements.
GARDEN GUIDE
The Garden Guide will provide enrichment through curating a garden for a Shangri-La home and teaching individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental illness how to care for their garden.
- Must be at least 15 years of age, 18 years or age is ideal, to volunteer independently. Volunteers 10-14 can volunteer with a parent or guardian.
- Must have gardening knowledge.

Shangri-La is an Oregon-based non-profit that provides services and supports to people with disabilities or disadvantages so they may recognize and achieve their full potential. We aim to create communities where all people are accepted for their abilities and celebrated for their accomplishments.
Shangri-La provides services in Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Linn, Benton, Lincoln and Lane counties. Volunteer opportunities vary by location. Please see individual volunteer opportunities for specific location.
