HAWC is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Walk for HAWC, our largest community fundraiser. HAWC provides comprehensive domestic violence services to 23 cities and towns across Massachusetts' North Shore. Last year alone, we served more than 2,700 people with programs such as our 24-hour Hotline, Emergency Shelter, Advocacy, Legal Services, Support Groups, and a Parent Child Trauma Recovery Program.
The Walk for HAWC is a fun, family-friendly event that brings together hundreds of people who walk in solidarity to raise awareness and fund raise for our clients. We need volunteers to make the event a success! Roles include:
- Set-Up
- Break-Down
- Crowd Control
- Food Server
- Route Cheerer
- Registration
- Children's Activities Volunteer
- Water Stop Station Volunteer
- Flyer Distribution - Prior the event!
You can find more information about the Walk and our volunteer opportunities at hawcdv.org/walk.
