It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

Brooklyn Center Community Corner1500 69th Avenue NBrooklyn Center, MN 55430

Do you like to talk? Do your friends tell you that you have a "gift for gab?" If so, our English language learners in Brooklyn Center would love for you to talk to with them.

ESL students want conversation time with a native English speaker in order to improve their pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency of speech. A licensed teacher will prepare structured listening and speaking activities. All you have to do is talk!

Volunteers will meet with students in break out sessions, during regular class time. The schedule also allows for students who come to class early to take advantage of conversation practice before class begins.

Volunteers are needed:

Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30-10:30AM and 10:30AM-12:30PM

Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:15-7:15PM or 6:30-8:30PM
