Overview
The Trustees of Reservations is looking for dedicated volunteers to interact with visitors for open house tours at Stevens Coolidge Place in North Andover. House Guides will provide exemplary customer service through answering questions about the property, the main house and the Steven Coolidge Place archival collection, as well as promoting upcoming programs, and explaining the benefits of becoming a member of the Trustees.
Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly open houses and additional programming
- Greet and educate visitors about the property and main house.
- Promote the Trustees mission and provide membership information
- Provide an excellent visitor experience through customer service and passion
- Attend orientation and training
- Read and study house and property history
Qualifications
- Must have an interest to learn about the history of Stevens Coolidge Place, the main house, and the collections.
- Knowledge of and passion for American history, Art history, Architecture and/or design
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience working with diverse audiences
Time Commitment
At least once a month for a six month period; additional program support and time may be required.
