This Earth Day, clean a river near you at Milwaukee Riverkeeper's 22nd Annual Spring River Cleanup ! Be one of nearly 4,000 volunteers joining together across the Milwaukee River Basin to pick up trash, get outdoors, and help us achieve swimmable, fishable rivers.
When : Saturday, April 22nd, 2017, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Where : Choose from more than 50 locations on the Milwaukee, Menomonee, and Kinnickinnic Rivers!
How : Milwaukee Riverkeeper provides garbage bags, gloves, and a free t-shirt to every volunteer! Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.This event is free, rain or shine, and open to all ages.

Description
Milwaukee Riverkeeper serves as an advocate and voice for the Milwaukee, Menomonee and Kinnickinnic Rivers. Our core programming involves patrolling, monitoring and advocating on behalf of the rivers. We also do hands-on river restoration projects as well as organize thousands of volunteers each year in river cleanup activities.
Milwaukee Riverkeeper is a licensed member of the Waterkeeper Alliance, an international coalition ensuring clean water and strong communities.
