A nonprofit community education/art center in the South Bay has a part-time need for a positive and motivated volunteer. This position may be either Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., and the availability is on an "as needed" basis. The right person for this position will greet visitors and create a highly positive experience conducive to repeat visitation, membership conversion, and positive word of mouth. The orientation to fulfill this volunteer opportunity consists of 2 hours of training and the qualifications require individuals with strong oral and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills. This is an exciting opportunity to volunteer in an upbeat, artistic and intellectual atmosphere and a background in the arts is beneficial.
