Easter Seals Massachusetts provides services to ensure that children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play. We are trying to reach out into the Spanish Community and are in need of volunteers who speak Spanish to help with translation and interpretation.
We work with many youth with disabilities whose have family members who only speak Spanish. We would like to provide parents/guardians with additional information on resources available in the community.
Major Responsibilities:
- Interpret and translate from one language into English/Spanish for either written or spoken purposes.
- Assist staff with interpretation during parent meetings for our Youth Leadership Network meetings in Worcester on the second Saturday, each month from 12pm-2pm.
Please contact Patrick Remy Youth Services Coordinator, Easter Seals Massachusetts: premy@eastersealsma.org or (508) 751-6417 for more information.
