If you love to take photos of people in action, we’d love your help in photographing our June event! Grit N Wit is an obstacle course challenge, with 10 physical and 10 mental challenges spread over a 1-1/2 mile course. It’s designed for individuals and teams of up to 6 people; children as young as 10 can participate as part of a team. We’re looking for up to 6 volunteers to take photos during the event; the number we’ll need will depend on whether the photographer wants to be there for 3 hours or 6 hours.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 17 th, beginning at 9 AM and ending around 3 PM (photographers can choose to be there from either 9AM - Noon, from Noon - 3 PM, or from 9 AM - 3 PM). The location is Rentschler Field in East Hartford. This is a fundraising event to provide support for families throughout CT who are fighting leukemia and other blood cancers. Our photographers would have to turn ownership of the photos over to our organization, but would have permission to use them to promote their work.
Are you looking to use your photographic 'grit & wit?’ If so, we’d love to talk to you about helping us capture this event in pictures!
