East End House's School Age Program is a nationally-accredited afterschool enrichment program that provides a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children in kindergarten though fifth grade. Our programming is designed to support academic confidence as well as socio-emotional development, supporting youth in their problem solving skills and learning.
Among the youth who attend out-of-school time programming, there are varied interests and personalities. Choice-based programming offers a variety of classes and activities so youth can engage in those that most interest and excite them. Every week we provide youth with academic enrichment activities and club activities that are designed to develop their skills and interests in new subjects.
Activities volunteers contribute to children's learning and development by helping group leaders lead activities, engagins kids directly about what they're doing, and being an acvite and positive participant in the experience.
Enrichment clubs and activities take place Monday through Friday from 4-5:30mpm. INterested individuals are encouraged to reach out!

Mission Statement
East End House is a not-for-profit, multi-service community center and social service agency with an on-going commitment to a diverse population, providing programs and services to strengthen family and community. Description
Originally established in 1875, East End House is one of Greater Boston's earliest settlement houses and community centers. One hundred and twenty-nine years ago, it was a vital resource for struggling or newly immigrated individuals and families. Today it is a dynamic, multi-service community center, focused on improving self-sufficiency, providing emergency aid, and making referrals to other agencies when necessary. Consistent throughout its history is this agency's dedication to providing essential services by responding to current community needs with programs, classes, informational resources, and activities. Well-baby clinics at the turn of the century, New Deal Programs during the Great Depression, multilingual energy audits for lower-income families in the seventies, a new facility completed in 1993 - East End House has evolved with its community, ever-mindful of the development and self-determination of those it serves.
