  • 42 people are interested

We are looking for volunteers to lead children along a literary journey to Mars, tell them about Lisa the bunny's first airplane trip, and share in their excitement as they experience the Wright brothers' first flight. If you have a good speaking voice and experience working with young children, we would like to talk to you! Previous storytelling experience is not required. We will teach you how to use props and engage in dramatic play and movement. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.

Volunteers are currently needed on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Weekend mornings. There is a new book and activity scheduled each month and the program is set amongst the Museum's artifacts. If interested in supporting this program, please apply via this link https://airandspace.si.edu/support/get-involved/volunteer/apply-now.
