ORGANIZATION: Stark County Park District

Treasurer: Knowledge of fund accounting systems, internal controls, and financial planning. This person should have the ability to analyze and present financial statements using excellent oral and written communication skills, leadership ability, and team orientation. Duties to include:

  1. Monitor receipt of all money deposited in the name of Your Stark Parks.
  2. Ensure that all funds are properly disbursed.
  3. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
  4. Ensure that all financial reports are filed on a timely basis.
  5. Oversee the preparation of budgets.
  6. Sign fiscal forms and instruments as necessary.

During the years in between our levy ballots, Your Stark Parks has a small team of volunteers raising money through fundraising events to help offset the costs associated with campaigning.
