We provide a week-long sleep-away summer camp to childhood cancer patients and survivors ages 7-17. Campers enjoy a fun-filled week of traditional summer camp activities at a YMCA campsite in the Berkshires, including canoeing, swimming, archery, and indoor rock climbing. Parents rest easy, knowing that their child is in the capable hands of our experienced camp counselors and a professional medical staff.
Seeking Campaign Manager for Spring 2017
Our Marketing Committee is seeking an individual interested in managing our upcoming second annual Crowdfunding Fundraiser in coordination with our Marketing Director. Our goal is to meet our matching grant and raise money for our 2017 camp year! Our fundraiser will be hosted through our online platform plugin to our website and we are very excited to begin. Our campaign will coordinate with two events and begin Mid - April and extend until Mid - May. Volunteers must be available for the following:
4-6 hours per week for the first three weeks of April
6-8 hours per week for four weeks during campaign
Development, implementation and completion of crowdfunding campaign.
Work with committee volunteers to strategize and implement communications strategy for the press, social
media, email and other outlets.
Previous crowdfunding experience
Experience with project management
Experience with team coordination and management
Outgoing and active on social media
Creative and innovative ideas for reaching out to the community
Knowledge from cancer research or family awareness. Previous experience within the nonprofit sector.
