We are recruiting volunteers who have a desire to give the gift of companionship to hospice patients and their families.

Do you like to meet new people, support others in their journey through life, or just connect with people? Volunteering is a wonderful and meaningful way to serve others.

We are looking for volunteers who can provide companionship and/or emotional support to patients and in some instances to family members of patients.

No medical care is given to patients by volunteers. All volunteers receive ample and excellent training, preparing volunteers to be available and present and to provide that companionship that we all require in our lives.

Description

"Bristol Hospice- California, LLC is currently seeking individuals desiring to assist with volunteer services. Hospice volunteer provides caring, support, non-medical services to individuals and families coping with dying and grief. They promote education and dialogue within the community about end-of-life issues."

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated by the patients, their families and the Bristol Hospice Team that you will become part of.

Volunteers are an integral part of Hospice Care.
