Lad Lake need volunteers for the second annual Kettle Classic event on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at our Dousman Campus (W350 S1401 Waterville Rd).
Lad Lake has been providing services to at-risk kids and their families from throughout southeastern Wisconsin since 1848. We provide support for foster kids who were never adopted, and support the state’s first residential shelter for girls rescued from sex trafficking. Please consider volunteering your gifts and talents, along with our team the morning of Saturday, June 16.
We need help with registration 7-12:pm
"Around the Course" Directional Volunteers,
Volunteers must be dressed for the weather and plan to be outside for at least two hours. Volunteers must also have cell phones with them on the course for emergency purposes.
- Need approximately 5 course volunteers to arrive at 7:30 a.m. Course volunteers will be done at about 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers must be able to walk.

Lad Lake has been evolving to meet the needs of Wisconsin’s most vulnerable children for nearly 170 years. Serving more than 1400 youth annually Lad Lake strives to meet the needs of today’s at-risk youth. 95% of the young people in our care come from a family in crisis. Many have been abused or severely neglected. Simply put Lad Lake is the emergency room of the child welfare system. Whether its support for foster kids, a safe haven for exploited and abused girls, remedial academic help, behavioral therapy for young people involved in the juvenile justice system or mentors for troubled youth Lad Lake provides proven programs that strengthen families and heal lives. Lad Lake’s mission is "Guiding the growth of at-risk youth to reach their potential and live responsibly."

All Lad Lake program’s aim to achieve four major goals:
. To ensure that a youth is safe and their basic needs are met.
. To improve a young person’s ability to regulate and manage their emotions.
. Increase their knowledge and skills to be self-sustaining adults (education and employment).
. To improve the social support systems (family and community) surrounding a young person.
