Social Capital Inc. (SCI) is a small nonprofit serving 20 Massachusetts communities. Our focus is on building community relationships and reciprocity and trust among neighbors, with a focus on promoting healthy communities and youth leadership development. The Social Capitalist Luncheon is our biggest annual event, both in terms of fundraising and educating people about our work.

I'm coordinating volunteers for this year's SCI Social Capitalist Luncheon and am in the process of looking for new volunteers. We are mostly looking for people to help with the registration table from 10:00am-12:15pm. The event is on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at the Sheraton Boston and the program runs from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Can you help us out by volunteering?

We have a really great program this year! We are honoring a diverse group of amazing people, including: Idealist Award winner David Shapiro, CEO of MENTOR; and Community Social Capitalists from the Chelsea Collaborative, Lynn Public Schools, Daily Table, and The Boston Foundation. We are also recognizing our 25 SCI AmeriCorps members with a special segment of the program.

As a volunteer, you would also receive a free lunch, in case that sweetens the deal for you!

Let me know if you are interested in helping us out: mobrien@socialcapitalinc.org
