The Cedar Bend Humane Society is in need of dedicated dog walkers! Our volunteer dog walkers provide our shelter dogs with needed exercise and interaction while they wait to be adopted into permanent, loving homes. Volunteers will be interacting with dogs of various sizes, shapes, breeds, and manners. We mostly need volunteers to walk dogs in the afternoon (1:00 pm - 4: 30 pm) every day of the week. Please help us make it possible to provide extra love, exercise, and attention to our "guests" while we find them their forever homes.
If interested, please visit our website and fill out a volunteer application. Volunteer's are required to attend an annual orientation that is held quarterly in January, April, July, and October.

Description
The Cedar Bend Humane Society is a nonprofit animal shelter dedicated to serving the people and animals of the Cedar Valley and surrounding communities. We accomplish this through our programs, which include pet adoption, humane education, spay/neuter, animal cruelty intervention and much more.
