This is an opportunity to join the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson in Pleasantivlle NY which is dedicated to supporting the mission of Girl Scouts- to build girls of courage, confidence and character. The Board consists of 12-15 directors of diverse backgrounds, expertise and experience. Potential candidates should be willing to spend time preparing for and attending monthly board meetings, in person, in Pleasantville NY. Directors are also asked to serve on at least one Committee and to make an annual personally substantial financial contribution to GSHH.

Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc. is a leadership organization for all girls age 5-17. We offer research based programming geared toward 15 developmental assets and we serve over 32,000 girls living in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self worth.
