Are you interested in a career in Human Resources? Do you want to gain experience working at a non-profit organization that makes a difference in people's lives? If so, we have an invaluable internship opportunity for you to learn more about how to manage a robust volunteer program working alongside our Director of HR!

Your duties may include:

  • Post ads and recruit volunteers on various websites
  • Communicate regularly with volunteers via phone and email
  • Create marketing materials for volunteer packages
  • Maintain accurate records and provide statistical and activity reports on volunteer participation
  • Seek opportunities for Corporate Group Volunteer Activities
  • Attend recruiting events in the community to attract qualified volunteers
  • Evaluate all aspects of volunteer program to ensure effectiveness and to recommend/implement changes as appropriate.
Prior experience is not necessary. We will teach you all the skills you need to manage a successful volunteer program! Qualities we are looking for include:
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and ask for feedback
  • A "people person"
  • Ability to work independently

You must be 18 years or older to volunteer and be able to pass a WSP Background check. Hours are flexible and some work can be done remotely.
