ORGANIZATION: The Arc Minnesota & Arc's Value Village

Always wondered what Arc’s Value Village does with all those donations we accept? Join us at one of our special "Earth Day sort-a-thons" on either Monday, April 17-Sunday, April 23 at our Bloomington Store!

Volunteers will help unpack & sort donations and learn about the "life of a donation" and our reuse & recycling process. Individuals and groups are welcome!

To sign up, visit our Online Volunteer Calendar at arcsvaluevillage.org/volunteer. Shifts are 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 4-6pm and 6-8pm. Youth between the ages of 8-15 will need to volunteer with an adult.

If you are unable to volunteer in our stores, consider organizing a donation drive in your community! For more information, please contact Greg Rue at ruegreg@arcgreatertwincities.org.

Description

The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
