About Seeking an individual with extensive fundraising experience who is interested in volunteering for the "These Boots Still March" Veterans Motorcycle/Walk-a-Thon fundraising event with Smith Residences Veterans Village to redevelop 96 townhomes and build new construction of one Early Childhood Centers, Social Service Center and a Memorial Veterans Park. Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator Specific tasks can include:

  1. Send Donation Request Letter to local Walking Groups, Recreational Adult Walking Leagues, Power Walking, Fitness Walking & Bicycle Groups, Cycling Clubs, and Motor Cycle Groups who might support the Motor Cycle/Walk-A-Thon.
  2. All materials must be approved and accepted by DOLL, INC Board before anything go out.
  • Follow up with each contact Donation Request Letter was sent.
  • Create Facebook page for event.
  • Guide event participants to http://www.thesmithresidences.com/2017-events/ to register for the "These Boots Still March" for Veterans Motorcycle/Walk-a-Thon event.
Additional Qualifications: * Reliable and accountable to his or herself. * Knowledge of Motorcycle/Walk-a-Thon event and the mission of the Smith Residences Veterans Village. * Track record of fundraising. * Skills necessary for success: organization, oral and written communication.

We provide a peaceful, supportive, home environment for homeless Veterans suffering and recovering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. We offer drug and substance abuse referrals through our two-year rapid re-housing and case-management program. This includes early childhood development services and support for the children of our Veterans. Provide economic development in underserved communities with permanent affordable housing for United States Veterans and United States citizens, career opportunities, job training for the unemployed and underemployed, and attract businesses to the areas where DOLL, INC. housing and services resides.

DOLL, INC is a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) non-profit incorporation founded in 2011, serving the underserved men and women Veterans and their families who have served our Country. DOLL, INC. is dedicated to affordable low-income housing and wrap around services at its Smith Residences Veterans Village, consisting of 96 townhomes.

"These Boots Still March for Veterans" Motor Cycle/Walk event is to raise money through donations to help redevelop housing at its Smith Residences Veterans Village for men and women veterans.
