Student reading in Harry Potter Competition.


Volunteer with the University of Southern California (USC) Joint Educational Project (JEP) Readers Plus and United Voices of Literacy (UVOL) to coach students from John Mack Elementary (4 th and 5 th grade) in the art of oral dramatic reading. Students are preparing for a reading competition at the Galen Center Sunday May 21, 2017 celebrating the "Life, Legacy and Music of Ella Fitzgerald."The competition will culminate with an Honoring Reception for tutors, staff and supporters.

Teaching experience is not necessary. Must be proficient in English.

Volunteer orientation held Monday March 27 3:30-5:30pm. Light refreshments served.
