Food bank volunteers needed in Fort Worth!

Did you know that 49% of our participants spend lass than $125/month on groceries and that 76% of all participants receive food bank groceries at their center on a monthy basis? Volunteer today to make a difference in the lives of others!

The Como Activity & Wellness Center is looking for volunteers to help participants of the center with the distribution of the food bank on the first Friday of the month from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM. Volunteers will help with unloading donated foods from the local food bank truck, sort food into bags, help carry them back to the lower building for distribution to the participants, and keep the distribution running smoothly. Dates include: April 7th, May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th, August 4th, September 1st, October 6th, November 10th*, and December 1st.
