Kennel Assistant Duties
- Hold and/or walk animals while cages are cleaned
- Clean cages, kennel runs, and cat areas
- Clean windows and floors throughout the shelter buildings
- Ensure animals have food, water, bedding and toys for the day
- Help with laundry and dishes as needed
- Supports the Mission of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay
- Is able to work well with others
- Is able to take correction and direction well
- Is able to stand and /or crouch for extended periods of time
- Is comfortable with loud noises and strange smells
- Is willing to get wet and/or dirty
- Is comfortable with animals of all breeds and sizes
We need Kennel Assistants 7 days a week from 8am - 1pm
